after all, one cannot live carefree so long as the tides threaten to swallow.☘ though a child of the forest, he holds no particular love for lush expanses of green, nor does he embody the principles of his roots. if asked about it, one might find he is quite unconcerned-- laissez-faire, even-- about his clan and its cultures, as though he never knew them, and, twelve forbid any personal anectdotes pass his lips.☘ despite the unfettered attitude, however, he is a surprisingly CURIOUS individual, near childlike in his interest of others. with approximate knowledge of many fields and tangible mastery of none, he has no shortage of questions to ask, and an unabashed eagerness for stories.☘ he has precious few loyalties--- near exclusive to his own guild, THE BEAST. An Ishgardian-based assassin's organization that took him in as a young beggar. little is known of the guild itself, and its inner workings remain a mystery to those who have heard of it. he is masterful in the disguise of his motivations; his targets may never know that they are, in fact, targets, and any outsiders he chooses to converse with consider him little more threat than any other foreigner that stumbles into their city walls. the only curiosity is that he appears a native ishgardian, yet without a trace of hyuran or elezan blood to be accounted for...☘ like any good traveler, chili is a bona-fide foodie. he has something of a universal palette_, though has a particular fondness for all things SPICY. anyone who sees him eat a favorite dish need not ponder too long on the origins of his name.
